The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Industrial Clusters program has a major role in achieving Vision 2020, National Industrial Strategy and wider government goals. It is supervised by two government agencies, the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and the Ministry of Petroleum and Minerals.
Industrial Clusters is catalysing the development of export-oriented and long-term globally competitive manufacturing clusters that leverage KSA's energy, petrochemical and mineral resources. The aim is to diversify the economy and create substantial numbers of rewarding jobs.
Four industrial clusters are being developed:
- Minerals and Metal Processing
- Pharma & Biotch
- Plastics and Packaging
The Industrial Clusters program comprises five experienced, professional and friendly cluster teams, each dedicated to developing mutually beneficial partnerships in which both KSA and investors gain. Industrial Clusters is primarily an expert facilitator, helping investors to build their businesses and thrive.
